Dual-Pak is an innovative solution for the general contractor's tool carrying needs. Developed for FirmGrip, a Hillman brand.
Dual-Pak uses a MOLLE-inspired modular pouch attachment system to adapt to workers' constantly changing needs over the course of a job. Constructed from modern, robust nylon and familiar, durable leather, Dual-Pak fits both the practical and aesthetic needs of the modern worker. Dual-Pak uses a staggered pack system to optimally distribute weight while maintaining tool accessibility.
Our prompt was to work with FirmGrip to develop a tool-carrying device as they look to break into the tool belt and vest market, currently being mainly a work glove company. We had to consider the market, user needs, and the visual brand language of the company.
Done for ID 3041 Product Development Studio at Georgia Tech over the course of 8 weeks.
